I Finally Started My Own Business (And It Feels Scary)

If someone had told me a year ago that I'd be packing gift hampers from my own home, I probably would've laughed.

For the longest time, my identity revolved around YouTube.

Creating videos.
Editing until midnight.
Refreshing analytics.
Dreaming of the day my channel would finally take off.

But somewhere along the way, I realized something.

Dreams are beautiful, but they don't pay bills overnight.

As much as I love creating content, I also wanted to build something with my own hands. Something tangible. Something that could make someone smile the moment they opened a box.

That's how Wrapped in Luv by Saniya was born.

It isn't just another gifting hamper business.

It's my little corner of the internet where every hamper is packed with intention.

I wanted to create gifts that feel feminine, soft, elegant, and deeply personal. The kind of gifts that make someone pause for a second and think, "Wow... someone really thought about me."

Whether it's a self-love hamper for a woman who's learning to choose herself, a bridal gift for a bride beginning a new chapter, a baby shower hamper celebrating new life, or a completely customized gift for someone special—I want every box to feel like a warm hug.

One thing I knew from day one was that I didn't want to compete on quantity.

I wanted to compete on emotion.

Beautiful pink packaging.

Thoughtfully selected products.

Premium presentation.

And handwritten notes that remind people how loved they truly are.

Because sometimes, people don't remember what was inside the box.

They remember how opening it made them feel.

Starting a business has been exciting, but also terrifying.

There are moments when I wonder if anyone will even place an order.

There are moments when I overthink every little detail—from ribbons to fonts to thank-you cards.

There are moments when I question whether I'm good enough.

But then I remind myself that every successful business once started with exactly one order.

So instead of waiting for perfection, I'm choosing progress.

Right now, my focus isn't on becoming a huge brand overnight.

My goal is much simpler.

I want my first happy customer.

Then ten.

Then a hundred.

And hopefully, thousands of women who choose Wrapped in Luv when they want to make someone feel special.

I'm also learning that building a business isn't just about products.

It's about relationships.

Instead of spending all my time chasing followers, I'm reaching out to local makeup artists, nail artists, bakers, photographers, boutiques, and creators who share the same love for thoughtful gifting.

I'm slowly building connections, one conversation at a time.

Maybe that's how every meaningful business grows—not through viral moments, but through genuine relationships.

If you've ever wanted to start something but kept waiting for the "perfect" time, let this be your reminder.

You don't need everything figured out before you begin.

You just need the courage to take the first step.

I'm still learning.

I'm still making mistakes.

I'm still figuring things out as I go.

But today, I can finally say something I've dreamed of saying for a long time.

I own a business.

And that feels pretty special.

If you're reading this, thank you for being part of this new chapter of my life.

Here's to small beginnings, handwritten notes, beautiful packaging, and dreams wrapped in love.

With love,

Manveen (Saniya)
