Do you feel that outside circumstances or events control how you think and feel? It may be true! But not every time!
If you are feeling sad, depressed, or bored, you cannot always put it to someone else. You cannot always blame the situations in your life unless you are willing to take responsibility.
Ever heard someone always complaining about their health, relationships, finances, job, boss, or career? Do you want to be with that person? No right! Every time they come to you or call you to talk about their sad events, you wish they cut the phone soon so you don't have to listen to their bullshit or the same repetitive story.
But do you realize you have become the same person unconsciously in the eyes of the universe?
Why would the universe give you peace, love, abundance, joy, and happiness if you are always playing the victim card?
The knowledge the universe holds, you have the same. All you need to do is search for it by going within!
It's time you stop letting outside circumstances paralyze you by always absorbing you into fight or flight mode. It's time you own your power and make your present moment a happy and joyous one.
Let's dive in to learn how.
How to create your happiness without external factors?
Let's talk facts! Life throws us curveballs. Friends change, relationships get broken, jobs come and go, and the weather may or may not cooperate with you. But how long can you make your happiness dependent on these factors? The Supreme God has given you this life, and therefore, it is your responsibility to live it fully and enjoyably.
How? Here's what you need to know:
1. Count your blessings: It's so easy to get caught up in what we lack. Begin each day by expressing gratitude for three things, no matter how minor. A beautiful morning, a steaming cup of coffee, or a good laugh with a friend—every little thing matters. By focusing on the positive aspects of life, this practice helps you recognize all the good things that already exist in it.
2. Be in the present moment: It's so easy to overthink and so difficult to stay in the present and embrace what we have. But it is time to make it simple, too. By practicing mindfulness, we can better ground ourselves in the here and now and enjoy the small pleasures in life, such as the flavor of food, the sound of birds chirping, and the warmth of the sun on our skin. Try quick meditation sessions or go for attentive walks while focusing on your senses and clearing your mind of any distracting ideas.
3. Being kind brings back to you: It's a boomerang effect! You can feel happier and more purposeful if you give of your time, provide a helping hand to a neighbor, or send a nice message. You develop happy feelings and build your ties to the community by putting other people's welfare first.
4. Engage yourself in playful activities: How long do you want to remain sad, upset, or anxious about the things that are not in your control? Get in touch with your playful side again! Take up something you really enjoy doing, like dancing, drawing, playing an instrument, or just curling up with a nice book. Engaging in enjoyable and satisfying activities allows you to de-stress and connect with your inner source of happiness naturally.
5. Move your body: Working out improves mood in addition to physical training! Engaging in physical activity releases endorphins, which are naturally occurring chemicals that elevate mood. This might range from a stroll through nature to a lively dance session in your living room. Establish a habit of regularly engaging in an enjoyable activity. Little actions have a great potential to change a lot!
6. Eat healthy food: Your emotions are influenced by your diet and self-care practices. Make nourishing, healthy eating choices that will nourish your body and mind. Make self-care routines like relaxation exercises and time spent in nature a priority. Get adequate sleep to rejuvenate. Taking care of yourself lays the groundwork for happier living.
